Refund & Cancellation Policy

Last Updated: 22 August 2026

This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to services purchased through OhMyVisa.com, owned and operated by SIMAR HOLIDAYS INDIA PRIVATE LIMITED (“Company”, “OhMyVisa”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).

Legal Name: SIMAR HOLIDAYS INDIA PRIVATE LIMITED
GSTIN: 06ABICS0206Q1Z5
Registered/Principal Place of Business: Ground Floor, E-152, Sushant Shopping Arcade, Sushant Lok Phase 1, Gurugram, Haryana – 122009, India
Website: https://ohmyvisa.com/

By booking a service or making a payment through OhMyVisa.com, you acknowledge and agree to this Refund & Cancellation Policy.

1. General Refund Policy

Refund eligibility depends on:

  • The type of service booked

  • The stage of processing

  • Whether an application has already been submitted

  • Whether third-party charges have already been paid

  • Embassy, Government Authority, insurer or service-provider rules

  • The reason for cancellation

Not all payments are refundable.

Where a refund is applicable, only the refundable component of the amount paid will be considered.

2. Visa Application and Assistance Services

OhMyVisa provides visa assistance and related support services.

Once any of the following activities have commenced, the applicable service or processing charges may become non-refundable:

  • Document review

  • Application preparation

  • Visa form filling

  • Appointment booking

  • Document verification

  • Application submission

  • Embassy or Visa Application Centre processing

  • Other agreed visa assistance services

If a cancellation request is received before processing has started, the Company may review the request and determine whether a refund is applicable after deduction of any administrative, payment-gateway or already-incurred charges.

3. Embassy, Government and Third-Party Fees

Fees paid or payable to third parties may be non-refundable, including:

  • Embassy fees

  • Consulate fees

  • Government visa fees

  • Visa Application Centre charges

  • Biometric charges

  • Appointment fees

  • Courier charges

  • Document handling charges

  • Verification charges

  • Third-party service-provider fees

Once such fees have been paid or committed to the respective authority or service provider, OhMyVisa cannot guarantee a refund.

Any refund of third-party charges will be subject to the refund rules of the relevant authority or provider.

4. Visa Rejection

Visa approval or rejection is decided solely by the relevant:

  • Embassy

  • Consulate

  • High Commission

  • Immigration Authority

  • Government Department

  • Authorized Visa Application Centre

A visa rejection does not automatically qualify for a refund.

OhMyVisa service charges for services already performed, and Government/Embassy/third-party fees already incurred, will generally remain non-refundable.

Where any specific visa service includes a separately advertised refund guarantee or refund eligibility, the specific written conditions of that offer will apply.

5. Visa Processing Delays

Estimated visa processing times are indicative only.

No refund will normally be provided solely because:

  • An Embassy takes longer than expected

  • Additional documents are requested

  • Security or background checks delay processing

  • Appointment availability is delayed

  • Government processing timelines change

  • A decision is not received before the customer's intended travel date

Customers are advised not to purchase non-refundable flight tickets, hotels or other travel arrangements solely based on estimated visa processing times.

6. Incorrect or Incomplete Information

No refund may be provided where a service cannot be completed or an application is delayed, rejected or cancelled due to:

  • Incorrect information provided by the applicant

  • Incomplete documents

  • Invalid or expired passport

  • False or misleading declarations

  • Forged documents

  • Failure to provide requested documents on time

  • Failure to attend an appointment, biometric session or interview

  • Failure to comply with Embassy or Government requirements

The applicant is responsible for ensuring that all information and documents submitted are accurate and genuine.

7. Travel Insurance Cancellation and Refunds

Travel insurance products facilitated through OhMyVisa may be issued by third-party insurance companies or authorized insurance partners.

Cancellation and refund eligibility for travel insurance will be governed by:

  • The applicable insurance policy terms

  • The insurer's cancellation rules

  • The insurer's refund conditions

  • Applicable regulatory requirements

  • Whether the policy period has commenced

  • Whether a claim has already been made

OhMyVisa does not independently determine insurance-policy refund eligibility where the decision is governed by the insurer.

Any applicable insurance refund may be subject to deductions, cancellation charges or other conditions imposed by the insurer.

8. Insurance Policy Issued Successfully

Once a travel insurance policy has been successfully issued, cancellation or refund will be processed only where permitted under the relevant insurer's terms.

A customer should carefully review the policy wording, coverage, dates, traveller details and cancellation conditions immediately after receiving the policy.

9. Customer-Initiated Cancellation

Customers may request cancellation by contacting OhMyVisa through the official support channels displayed on the Website.

A cancellation request should include:

  • Applicant/customer name

  • Registered email address or mobile number

  • Booking/application reference number

  • Payment transaction ID

  • Reason for cancellation

Submitting a cancellation request does not automatically guarantee a refund.

The refund amount, if any, will be determined after reviewing the stage of processing and any charges already incurred.

10. Cancellation Before Processing Starts

Where a customer requests cancellation before any service work, third-party booking, application submission or processing has commenced, OhMyVisa may approve a refund subject to applicable deductions.

Such deductions may include:

  • Payment gateway charges

  • Transaction charges

  • Administrative charges, where applicable

  • Any third-party fees already incurred

The customer will be informed of the applicable refundable amount where a refund is approved.

11. Cancellation After Processing Starts

Once processing has commenced, service charges corresponding to work already completed or initiated may be non-refundable.

Where an application has already been submitted to an Embassy, Government Authority, Visa Application Centre, insurer or other third party, cancellation may no longer be possible.

Any refundable amount will depend on the circumstances and applicable third-party policies.

12. Duplicate Payments

If a customer is charged more than once for the same booking or transaction due to a technical error, the customer should contact OhMyVisa with proof of the duplicate payment.

After successful verification, the confirmed duplicate amount will be refunded to the original payment method.

Payment gateway and banking processing timelines may apply.

13. Payment Debited but Booking Not Confirmed

If money is debited from the customer's account but the transaction or booking is not confirmed, OhMyVisa will verify the payment status.

Depending on the result, OhMyVisa will either:

  • Confirm and process the booking/service; or

  • Initiate a refund where the payment was received but the service could not be created or provided.

Customers should avoid making repeated payments until the status of the first transaction has been verified.

14. Failed Transactions

For transactions marked as failed where the amount has been debited, the amount may be automatically reversed by the customer's bank or payment service provider.

If the amount is received by OhMyVisa despite the transaction showing as failed, we will verify the transaction and arrange the appropriate resolution.

Banking and payment gateway timelines are outside OhMyVisa's direct control.

15. Refund Processing Method

Approved refunds will generally be processed to the same payment method or account from which the original payment was received, wherever technically and legally possible.

Refunds will not ordinarily be processed to an unrelated third-party account.

The customer may be required to provide additional information for verification where necessary.

16. Refund Processing Time

Once a refund is approved and initiated by OhMyVisa, it may take approximately 5 to 10 business days for the amount to reflect in the customer's account, depending on:

  • Bank

  • Card issuer

  • UPI provider

  • Payment gateway

  • Payment method

In some cases, the financial institution may require additional processing time.

OhMyVisa cannot control delays occurring after the refund has been successfully initiated through the relevant payment channel.

17. Service Not Provided by OhMyVisa

If OhMyVisa is unable to provide a paid service due solely to circumstances attributable to the Company and no corresponding service or third-party cost has been incurred, the customer may be eligible for an appropriate refund.

The amount will be determined after verification of the booking and payment records.

18. Refunds for Third-Party Services

Services provided by external parties are subject to their respective cancellation and refund policies.

These may include:

  • Embassies and Consulates

  • Government Authorities

  • Visa Application Centres

  • Insurance companies

  • Payment gateways

  • Banks

  • Courier companies

  • Documentation service providers

  • Other travel service providers

OhMyVisa cannot provide a refund for an amount that has already been paid to a third party and declared non-refundable by that provider.

19. Change in Travel Plans

A customer's change in personal travel plans does not automatically qualify for a refund.

Examples include:

  • Change of travel date

  • Change of destination

  • Cancellation of trip

  • Personal emergency

  • Change of employment

  • Change of itinerary

  • Failure to travel after visa issuance

Refund eligibility will depend on whether the relevant service can still be cancelled and whether charges have already been incurred.

20. No Refund for Completed Services

No refund will generally be provided for services that have already been fully delivered.

A service may be considered delivered where OhMyVisa has completed its agreed scope even if:

  • The visa is subsequently rejected

  • The customer decides not to travel

  • The customer changes travel plans

  • The customer no longer requires the service

21. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

If a customer believes that a payment has been incorrectly charged, they are encouraged to contact OhMyVisa before initiating a payment dispute or chargeback so that the matter can be reviewed.

OhMyVisa reserves the right to provide transaction records, booking details, service records, customer communications and other relevant evidence to the bank, card network or payment gateway in response to a chargeback.

This does not restrict the customer's legal right to raise a genuine payment dispute.

22. Fraudulent Transactions

If a transaction is suspected to be unauthorized, fraudulent or made using stolen payment credentials, OhMyVisa may:

  • Suspend processing of the service

  • Request additional verification

  • Cancel the booking

  • Cooperate with the relevant bank, payment provider or authorities

  • Process any applicable refund in accordance with law and payment-provider procedures

23. Refund Request Procedure

To request a refund or cancellation, customers should contact OhMyVisa through the official contact details available on the Website.

The request should include sufficient information to identify the transaction.

OhMyVisa may request:

  • Booking or application ID

  • Transaction ID

  • Payment receipt

  • Registered mobile number

  • Registered email address

  • Applicant name

  • Supporting documents relevant to the request

Refund requests will be reviewed based on the applicable service terms and transaction status.

24. Exceptional Circumstances

Where a situation is not specifically covered by this Policy, OhMyVisa may review the matter individually in accordance with:

  • Applicable law

  • Nature of the service

  • Work already completed

  • Third-party costs already incurred

  • Customer circumstances

  • Contractual obligations

Any discretionary refund provided in one case does not create an automatic entitlement to a refund in another case.

25. Policy Updates

SIMAR HOLIDAYS INDIA PRIVATE LIMITED may update this Refund & Cancellation Policy from time to time due to changes in:

  • Services

  • Payment processes

  • Embassy requirements

  • Insurance-provider terms

  • Government regulations

  • Operational requirements

The latest version will be published on OhMyVisa.com with the updated revision date.

26. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

This Refund & Cancellation Policy shall be governed by the applicable laws of India.

Subject to applicable consumer-protection laws and mandatory jurisdiction requirements, disputes arising in connection with this Policy shall be subject to the jurisdiction of competent courts at Gurugram, Haryana, India.
